Temwa’s Festival Tour 2018: Last Stop, Shambala!

Festivals are a big part of the British Summer with artists from all round the world taking the stage at the UK’s top, quirky, and wonderful events and even more punters flock to the fields armed with wellies, glitter and bumbags.  This year millions of festival goer’s have been gifted with weekends full of sun and amazing acts. Amongst those millions has been Temwa’s Festival Team, who have had a magical time volunteering at

Wonder Fields

St Paul’s Carnival

Port Eliot Festival

RiZe Festival

As we bring our tour to a close, we finish on a high note this weekend at Shambala!

If you’re pitching up your tent at Shambala this bank holiday, then keep an eye out for Temwa staff. We’ll be on the info points, lost + found and phone charging services. Come say hi to our team, tag Temwa in your photos with us, discover more about what we do, and get some solar juice in your phone for £3 – which can plant  6 trees in Northern Malawi. Your support is much appreciated by the whole Temwa team and especially by the communities we work with!

2018 has been our largest Festival Tour, the team have been brilliant and volunteers have enjoyed their favourite bands whilst working hard to provide the best possible service and make a real difference. One said..

‘had a lot of fun helping people with festival info, charging their phones and making a lot of people very happy by reuniting them with their lost property items’

Graham Styles, Temwa Festival Volunteer for Wonderfields 2017

We are sad the Festival Tour is coming to an end, but what an end it will be with one of our favourites. Follow our Shambala fun on instagram!
