We are proud to announce our partnership with Safestore
It has been a busy year for Temwa’s events team. In June, we held our 10th annual Art for Africa auction, which included the work of Bristol’s most exciting urban and contemporary artists. We also hit the road; working at festivals like Glastonbury, Shambala, and Boomtown – running solar-powered phone charging services, manning information posts and reuniting festival goers with their lost items. However, now that summer is coming to a close Safestore has kindly provided somewhere secure for us to put our event structures and equipment until the 2018 festival season.
Safestore provides an invaluable service; with 24-hour access and on-site support throughout the day. With a variety of unit sizes, Safestore caters for all different needs, from businesses to households and individuals. Plus, with over a hundred stores nationwide (and three in Bristol alone) you won’t have to travel far.
Generously offered at no charge, this storage unit and the items within it (donated by the likes of Warner Brothers), epitomise how the success of Temwa relies upon your generosity and the belief in our work. We are so grateful to everyone at Safestore for this provision of space, thank you.
At Temwa, we work exclusively within Nkhata Bay North and are uniquely committed to working with the hardest to reach communities in this part of Malawi – one of the poorest countries in the world. Our work simply would not be possible without donations like these, events, and sponsored challenge participants. Find out how you can get involved here.
