Wild Swim Winter: Nov 18 – Feb 19

Stay fresh this winter with an icy challenge of monthly wild swims from October – February.

When: 28th October 2018 – February 2019 (Once per month)

Where: Various locations around Bristol

Age restrictions: 18+ with a good level of health

Minimum sponsorship target: £200 (before Gift Aid)

Registration fee: £30

As part of a group, with team leader Joe, you’ll swim in stunning locations across Somerset in lakes, sea and rivers, making the most of our gorgeous countryside and braving the winter weather. There’s no doubt you’ll feel stronger after each dip as wild swimming – and cold swimming especially – is said to be incredibly beneficial for the mind, body and soul. And if you’re raising invaluable funds for Temwa at the same time, even better!

Provisional swim dates

Sun 28th Oct: First get-together for swim, team photos and pint in Clevedon.
Sun 11th Nov: An icy swim followed by delicious sauna at Henleaze Lake.
Sun 16th Dec: Sea swim (location TBC)
Sun 27th Jan: Sea swim at Penarth (location TBC)
Sun 24th Feb: Final swim of the challenge – sea swim at Clevedon.

Exact dates and locations will be decided with the group and will be subject to change according to weather conditions where necessary.
