Temwa’s 2026 Events
At Temwa our community led approach brings people together in Malawi AND here in the UK. We put together and support some amazing events you can get involved in throughout each year to raise money to help us continue our life changing work.
Whether it’s running a marathon, climbing hills or volunteering at a festival, we have a range of fun and exciting ways to get involved.

Bristol Great Run – Sunday 10th May
Raise funds while you run, take on a 10k or the challenge of a Half Marathon! Sign up to run for Temwa here.

Valley Fest – 31st July – 2nd August

Shambala Festival – 21st-24th August

Temwa Annual Christmas Party – Saturday 12th December
Every year, we like to bring our incredible community of supporters together to celebrate the year, usually with an auction of incredible prizes, delicious local food, and amazing entertainment! More information is coming soon.
We are always open to new ideas, so if there is something you would like to do to raise money for Temwa that we haven’t suggested we would love to hear from you! From giving up alcohol for a month to hosting a dance-athon, or hosting a bake sales, everyone can get involved.
