Join us on this day long trek along the stunning and historic Jurassic coastline!
Start your journey in Lulworth Cove, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its horseshoe-shaped bay and crystal-clear waters. From there, follow the rugged path along the cliffs, taking in views of the famous Durdle Door, a natural limestone arch that juts out into the sea. As you continue east, the coastline reveals a series of dramatic chalk cliffs, including the towering White Nothe, offering sweeping vistas over the English Channel.
The trek takes you through a diverse landscape, with stretches of coastal heathland, quiet beaches, and lush valleys. Keep an eye out for wildlife, as this area is rich in flora and fauna, including seabirds and wildflowers. Along the way, the path winds through charming villages, such as Worth Matravers, but this trek will mostly be remote and exposed to the elements, so be sure to pack your adventuring gear! The final stretch brings you into the seaside town of Swanage, where we will end our day.
You’ll be guided every step of the way be experienced trek leader David. Not only will this be a challenging day out for any keen fundraiser, but it’ll be a lot of fun, as David shares with you his love of nature and adventure.
Communities in Malawi are facing the worst impacts of climate change, rising costs of living, waterborne diseases, food insecurity and the continued threat of HIV. With your support, the communities we work with in Nkhata Bay North can help themselves overcome these huge challenges and improve their lives and incomes.
You can help by joining us on Saturday 27th September on the stunning Dorset coast.
