Join Temwa for this fantastic Half Marathon run through the historic city of Bath.
Communities in Malawi are facing the worst impacts of climate change, rising costs of living, waterborne diseases, food insecurity and the continued threat of HIV. With your support, the communities we work with in Nkhata Bay North can help themselves and overcome these huge challenges and improve their lives and incomes.
You can help by joining us on Sunday 15th October at one of the UK’s best and well known half marathon challenges running through the historic city of Bath. Despite being a hilly, the organisers have created a 2-lap route to keep the run relatively flat and ensure the event is accessible to most runners.
Bath is a UNESCO world heritage site. Brave the challenge and take the opportunity to run among some beautiful historic buildings and scenery, all while raising crucial funds for communities in Nkhata Bay North.
What you need to know
Starting in the north-east corner of Queen Square, you will proceed down Chapel Row, Charles Street, Green Park Road, Corn Street and the Ambury with all the roads lined with supporters cheering you on. On the first lap you will turn left after crossing Churchill Bridge along Rossiter Road, Pulteney Road and into Great Pulteney Street, turning round the fountain in Laura Place before returning on the same route to Churchill Bridge.
There are five spots to run for Temwa and we expect they will fill up fast, so do not delay in securing your place in the Bath half marathon!
