Get fit, have fun, and support Temwa!

Want to get fit, meet new people, and help Temwa to continue life-changing work in Malawi?

At Temwa, our supporters and followers often ask us how they can help to change the lives of people living in Nkhata Bay North. Right now, with the on-going food crisis severely affecting the communities that we serve, this question is more pertinent than ever. A charity challenge could be the answer!

So what can I do?

One of the best and most effective ways to support any organisation is by signing up to a sponsored event. Sponsored events are great for having fun, getting fit, and meeting new people. Plus, they are one of the most effective ways you can fundraise for Temwa. Just a little sponsorship from each of your friends, family and colleagues will go a long way in Nkhata Bay North.

How do I go about it?

Here at Temwa we have a range of sponsored events to choose from. Whether you like to run, cycle, climb or abseil we have an event to challenge you! All you have to do is choose which one you’d most like to get involved in and start fundraising! And don’t worry if you’ve never fundraised before – we are with you throughout your journey to offer advice and support.

With all of our events you can choose to take part as an individual, or as a team. Why not rally a group of your mates to take part with? Or perhaps you want to organise a team building exercise for you and your colleagues – charity challenges are perfect for this too! Maybe you want to do something as a family? We have events to match any circumstance.

Okay – so what now?

“MY WHOLE BODY ACHED WITH EXHAUSTION, BUT I FELT EUPHORIC… IT WAS THE MOMENT I’D DREAMED OF; I HAD DONE IT.”
