Thank you so much for helping us to raise £32, 997 during this year’s Big Give Christmas Appeal. This money will be used to help support our Taps, Toilets and Radio Shows to help create safer and healthier communities in Malawi.

How will your Big Give donation help? 

Since Temwa started introducing water filters in Nkhata Bay North, an isolated part of Northern Malawi, waterborne diseases like cholera have reduced by 85% in the participating villages. Although this is an incredible achievement that we couldn’t have done without you, there are still communities that lack access to safe drinking water. And even though we’ve reduced the risk of disease significantly, coronavirus brings a new threat which is why your support was so important to us

Thank you for being part of the solution 

We will be working with communities to provide water filters, hand washing stations, training to build pit latrines (a special kind of toilet built to function without water), and delivering reliable information campaigns, particularly around coronavirus, with local radio stations.

Money raised from the appeal will help change the lives of hundreds of people in Nkhata Bay North – so THANK YOU from us all.
